Our Story
tracio.ai was founded in 2024 by a team of ex-Cloudflare and ex-Stripe engineers who spent years building bot management and fraud detection systems at scale. We saw the same problem from both sides: Cloudflare's bot management team needed better device signals, and Stripe's fraud team needed fingerprinting that actually worked across browser updates and privacy settings.
The existing solutions were either closed-source black boxes that demanded you hand over your visitor data, or open-source libraries that broke every time Chrome shipped an update. We knew there was a better way — a system built on deep hardware signals, AI-powered cross-session matching, and an architecture that keeps all data on your infrastructure.
We built tracio.ai to be the device intelligence platform we wished we had at Cloudflare and Stripe. Today, we process over 2 billion events per month across 4 data centers, with a team of 12 engineers who believe that precision, speed, and transparency are not optional — they are the foundation.

Most fingerprinting solutions rely on simple hash concatenation: collect a few signals, hash them together, and hope the result stays stable. This approach breaks down the moment a browser updates, a user changes a setting, or an OS patches a rendering engine.
